The Challenge
Bringing the Festival into the City
For KADD’s first partnership with TIFF, the communication needed to announce the Open Air film selection in the heart of Cluj-Napoca and feel fully integrated with the atmosphere of the festival.
The solution had to work as urban information, physical object and festival landmark — designed for public space and produced for real-world installation.

Graphic communication and structural requirements were developed together so the installation could remain precise from concept through fabrication.

The Outcome
Festival Information Becomes Urban Presence
The Open Air selection made visible in Cluj-Napoca’s central public square.
The installed displays connected programme information with the physical rhythm of Piața Unirii, giving TIFF.14 a clear and recognisable presence in the city.
